These past few months have been a whirlwind: I moved to Tennessee, got engaged, turned 25, and took a road trip across the country.
On July 30th, Jordan asked me to marry him. We've set the wedding date for November 5th, 2016. Mom and I have already started booking vendors, but I plan on doing the majority of planning after the holiday season. ("Plan on planning" sounds so silly but the event coordinator in me has grand aspirations for our big day!)
So remember when I blogged about moving into an apartment? Well, that STILL hasn't happened yet. I actually peeped into the downstairs floor of the apartment building today and the building finally looks finished. I was originally given a move in date for mid-August and they've been pushing it farther and farther ahead each week. Hopefully, I'll be living there before November. *fingers crossed* Thank God for my future-grandma-in-law for giving me a place to live while my apartment has been under construction.
My 25th birthday was spent traveling across country to Las Vegas for a company trade show. We took the scenic route on the way back by going through Utah and Colorado. Jordan and I enjoyed Moab, Utah the most. We rafted the Colorado River and went to an amazing winery there. We also went through Texas and see the Alamo. Since then, I've been craving authentic mexican food-- there's nothing like fresh tortillas.
I'm going to try to be more active on social media again. I've been making an effort to be more "present" with this exciting time in my life, but now that things have calmed down a bit, I will return to my normal posting schedule.
